By using the services, the website (www.travelcab.net), the mobile application, the WhatsApp channel, or other digital channels of Travelcab, you fully accept these Terms and Conditions, as well as any complementary policies and their updates. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services.

Travelcab is a professional private transportation company and travel and tourism agency registered in the National Directory of Qualified Tourism Service Providers of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), which offers and markets its services exclusively through digital channels.


2. Definitions

Travelcab or the Company: R Y O LAB S.A.C., a legal entity incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Peru, owner and operator of the Travelcab brand.

User or Passenger: any individual who uses Travelcab's digital channels to contract private transportation services or tour packages.

Driver: the person in charge of operating the vehicle assigned to the transportation service.

Transportation service: scheduled private transfer (airport, hotel to destination, intercity) or hourly chauffeur service.

Tour package or Tour: a travel program organized by Travelcab that may include transportation, admission tickets, meals, guide services, and other services provided directly or by third-party operators.

Digital channel: the website (www.travelcab.net), the mobile application, the WhatsApp Business channel, and any official Travelcab social media account.


3. Services offered

3.1

Private transportation service

  • Scheduled transfers to and from Jorge Chávez International Airport (Lima) and Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport (Cusco).
  • Hotel-to-destination and point-to-point transfers within operating cities.
  • Private hourly chauffeur service (minimum 3 hours). Travelcab does not sell guided tours under this modality; the driver is not a certified tour guide.
  • Corporate transportation under special agreements.
3.2

Tour packages (Tours)

Travelcab organizes and markets tour packages that may include transportation, attraction tickets, meals, guided tours, and other services. When a package includes services provided by third-party operators, Travelcab acts as the package organizer and is responsible to the user for the proper execution of the contracted program, in accordance with applicable Peruvian legislation.

Each tour package will include a descriptive sheet with:

  • Detailed itinerary with schedules and pickup points.
  • Included and excluded services.
  • Total price per person.
  • Specific cancellation conditions, if they differ from the general ones.
  • Passenger requirements (documents, check-in time, health restrictions, permitted luggage).

4. Reservations and payment

4.1

Reservations

All reservations are made exclusively through Travelcab's digital channels. The reservation is confirmed once full payment is received.

4.2

Advance payment

Payment for all Travelcab services is always in advance. No service is provided without prior confirmed payment.

4.3

Payment methods

  • International customers: credit or debit card via secure payment link (Niubiz gateway, PCI DSS certified).
  • Domestic customers: Yape (934 791 872), BCP bank transfer (Current Account in Soles No. 194-2628905094, CCI 00219400262890509495, holder R Y O LAB S.A.C.) or Niubiz payment link.
4.4

Hourly chauffeur service — additional payment

The hourly chauffeur service has a 3-hour minimum that is paid in advance. Additional hours are paid at the end of the service via the driver's POS terminal or payment link.

4.5

Payment receipts

Travelcab issues electronic receipts (boleta) or invoices (factura) as requested by the user. For invoices, the user must provide their tax ID (RUC) and legal name at the time of booking.


5. Cancellation and refund policy

5.1

Transportation services

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours in advance: 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation between 12 and 24 hours before the service: 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 12 hours in advance or no-show: no refund.
5.2

Tour packages (Tours)

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: 100% refund of the amount paid, except for non-recoverable management costs (tickets already purchased, non-refundable third-party reservations), which will be communicated to the user.
  • Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before the tour: 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance or no-show: no refund.
5.3

Cancellation by Travelcab or force majeure

Travelcab may cancel or reschedule a service or tour when adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, road blockages, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events prevent the safe execution of the service. In such cases, the user may choose between:

  • Rescheduling the service at no additional cost.
  • 100% refund of the amount paid.
5.4

Refund procedure

Refunds are processed within 10 business days following the approved request, through the same payment method used for the purchase. If the original method does not allow the return, Travelcab will coordinate an alternative method with the user.


6. Liability

6.1

Transportation

Travelcab is responsible for providing the contracted transportation service, including punctuality, safety, and quality. Travelcab holds current civil liability insurance.

6.2

Tour packages

When Travelcab markets a tour package, it is responsible to the user for the proper execution of the contracted program, even when the included services are provided in whole or in part by third-party operators, in accordance with Article 17 of the Travel and Tourism Agency Regulations (Supreme Decree No. 005-2020-MINCETUR) and the Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law No. 29571).

6.3

Limitations

Travelcab shall not be liable for:

  • Damages arising from false or incomplete information provided by the user.
  • Delays or inability to provide the service caused by force majeure events.
  • Loss or damage to the user's personal belongings during the service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the driver or Travelcab personnel.
  • User decisions contrary to the safety instructions of the driver or guide.
6.4

Lost items

If a user leaves personal items in the vehicle, Travelcab will make reasonable efforts to recover and return them within the following 30 calendar days. Travelcab may request proof of ownership from the user. After this period, Travelcab assumes no responsibility for unclaimed items.


7. User obligations

The user agrees to:

  • Provide truthful and complete information at the time of booking.
  • Arrive at the agreed point and time. For airport transfers, the meeting point is Gate 3, Level 1 (international arrivals) at Jorge Chávez Airport, where the driver will be waiting with a sign bearing the passenger's name.
  • Not transport illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials.
  • Treat the driver and Travelcab personnel with respect.
  • Comply with the specific requirements of each tour or tour package (documents, schedules, restrictions).
  • Not use Travelcab's digital channels for illegal, defamatory, or abusive purposes.

8. Intellectual property

The Travelcab brand, website design, mobile application, logos, texts, and images are the property of R Y O LAB S.A.C. or its licensors. Their reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is prohibited.


9. Personal data protection

The processing of user personal data is governed by our Personal Data Protection Policy, prepared in accordance with Law No. 29733 (Personal Data Protection Law) and its Regulations (Supreme Decree No. 003-2013-JUS).


10. Complaints book

Travelcab has a virtual Complaints Book available on its website, in accordance with the Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law No. 29571) and complementary regulations.


11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute arising from their interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Lima.


12. Modifications

Travelcab reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications will be published on digital channels and will take effect upon publication. Continued use of services after the publication of modifications constitutes acceptance thereof.
